Poco M3 Pro 5g - Everything you want to know

In this post we are going to see about the newly launched Poco M3 Pro 5g smartphone which was launched in June 8th 2021 and we are also going to discus about Poco M3 Pro 5g price in india and its specs and features.

Battery

It has a big battery of 5000 mah which is good and on a normal usage it would probably give a battery backup of 1-2 days . Well, 6000 mah battery would be even better and improve the battery performance. It is powered with 18 watt fast charger and with type c port and cable which is quite good and the time taken to charge 5000 mah battery with 18 watt charger would be around 2 hours . Battery performance would be quite good.

Processor

It has the mediatek dimensity 700 processor which is an entry level 5g chipset which is based on 7 nm and you can easily play hardcore games like Pubg, Call of Duty, Gta V or Free Fire. You would be able to play hardcore games in low to medium settings and high settings would also be available but then some lag would be there. But the gaming performance is decent enough for this smartphone.

Camera

It has a triple camera setup in which the primary camera is of 48 megapixel and two camera's of 2 megapixel are also there and a 8 megapixel front camera is also there.Well at this price, poco should have given 16 megapixel front camera but its okay inorder to provide 5g phone they have done some cost cutting. But overall the camera is quite good and decent in performance.

Variants and Price

It comes in two variants where the first variant is in 4 GB 64 GB priced at ₹ 13,999 and the second variant comes in 6 GB 128 GB priced at ₹ 15,999. Well the price seems a little high but as it is a 5g Smartphone so it is okay . It comes in 3 colours - Cool Blue, Power Black and Yellow.

Display

It comes with the big 6.5 inch (16.51 cm) Full HD+ Display with the protection of gorilla glass 3 which is quite good and pre fitted scratch guard which is also a great initiative in this covid times. The screen is quite good and the multimedia experience is also quite good.

My Review

Overall it seems a good package, it is a good thing that 5g has been provided but there are few drawbacks like only a 8 mega pixel front camera is given and it seems a little overprices and a huge gap of Rs 2000 is there if you want to buy 6 GB 128 GB . At this price better performance 4g phones are also available but the choice is upto you whether whats your basic need is it about 5g or you have build trust over POCO brand. It seems a decent package overall.
